From the makers of other successful fitness programs, Hundred Pushups and Two Hundred Situps comes: Twenty Chinups.

If youre serious about improving your upper body strength, follow this six week program and youll soon be on the way to 20 consecutive chin-ups.

Chin-ups are a great exercise - using your own body weight against you! As such most people will struggle to do 2 chin-ups. If you follow our program we are positive that after the 6 weeks, you will be able to do twenty chin-ups.

Please Note: If you can easily do chinups then pull ups can be done with the program instead.

Pros and cons of Twenty Chinups app for iPhone and iPad

Twenty Chinups app good for

Hey nice application. Seems as good as "one hundred push ups". Some small bugs. The name for connecting the app to facebook shows "100 push ups". Add Twitter, please! And it wood be great to have an all inclusive app (push ups, chin ups, etc. ) Cheers!
Come on, its a nice app but I want the update! Nooooow! PushUps and SitUps have it already xD
I keep my device on a sturdy surface during my workout. This is a great way to become motivated. Like a personal trainer with out the expence. Please change the logo icon to match the rest. ;) Great app
I last said the APP was terrible but I have to commend the makers on the update. Its now great and easy to use.
This program, as well as the other 2 they have are great apps. Its like having a personal trainer pushing you as you are working out. You do the initial test to see how many you can do and then it tells you how many to do, then you push the button when done and it gives you a rest period and does the next set. The simplicity of it what makes it excel above all the others I have bought. I hope you guys keep the apps coming and maybe come out with some for weight lifting like, Curls, Leg lifts etc. This is exactly what I was looking for, again. Good job.
This is a easy and convenient way to improve your chins. I would like to see updates similar to the ones for 100 pushups & 200 situps. The ability to change the completed reps & chart workouts would be great.

Some bad moments

So I cant tell you how many times I have had my workout interrupted because the shake to set the timer to zero happened because I bent over to pick-up my water bottle, etc... How could they not have a disable function for this. I dont want to stand like a corpse. The other feature missing is if I want to exit the app to say...change my music or check my e-mail in between sets it stops the app...I think in most cases I would have been better off with paper and a watch...
I did my inital test at 16. And then it started me off at 6 and 7 daily and after two weeks it still wants me to do only about 11 chin-ups. Boring.
the good form chin up definintion needs to be corrected. pull-ups have palms facing out and chin-ups have palms facing the body. the graphic showing a chin-up is also weak and confusing. I entered 14 in inital test value and it starts me out doing 2 chin-ups and then 2 more after resting a minute. I then entered 20 for the inital test and it doent change the work regimen. not really a program at all.
Not sure whether last set is max or not. The app doesnt do much so instructions shoulnt be hard write.
Program is crap. It gives you the same program regardless of how many you can initially do. If I can already do 12 why would my first day have me do no more than 2 reps per set.
Hey guys. I think you phoned this one in. Youre defenition of a good form chin up vs. pull up is confusing both say palms out. I could draw a better picture of a guy doing a chin up with a pen in my teeth. No updates for weeks. Please at least bring it up to par with your other programs.
